- 2 tbsp olive oil or sub a flavorless oil like canola or vegetable
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper

- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
- To trim your asparagus, hold the bottom end of one of your asparagus firmly. With your other hand, bend the asparagus until it snaps. Try this with two more asparagus. Trim the rest of your asparagus to the longest of your 3 test asparagus.2 lbs. asparagus
