Matzo Ball Soup

WHAT YOU NEED

eggs matzo meal duck fat schmaltz, or vegetable oil salt sparkling water or seltzer stock/broth

eggs with the duck fat, schmaltz, or vegetable oil

WHISK

matzo meal,  sparkling water or seltzer, and salt. Mix with a fork

ADD

mixture into ping-pong sized balls. 

ROLL

for 20 minutes in simmering boiling water

COOK

matzo balls, let cool to room temp. Keep in a sealable container in the refrigerator.

STRAIN

and enjoy warm
