Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
To trim your asparagus, hold the bottom end of one of your asparagus firmly. With your other hand, bend the asparagus until it snaps. Try this with two more asparagus. Trim the rest of your asparagus to the longest of your 3 test asparagus.

Lightly drizzle with oil (or spray with oil spray), sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to evenly coat and spread them out evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast for 10 minutes, toss to rotate, and cook an additional 5-10 minutes until tender when poked with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the asparagus.
